Tammy Tidmarsh LBIPP worked as a successful model for over 12 years. Working internationally she modelled for companies such as Bradford & Bingley, Neilson, Babyliss, Great Universal, Next and Nike, to name a few. During this time Tammy worked as a Photographic Model, a Catwalk and Fitting Model and also worked in Television where she gained her Equity card.
It was during this time working as a model that Tammy met Simon Watkinson, the multi award-winning photographer and owner of a successful photographic training company. Tammy modelled on the courses for a couple of years before she picked up a camera herself.
Simon having a horse riding accident meant that Tammy was drafted in to help in the photographic studio and there was the perfect opportunity to get used to working with the lighting and get behind the camera.
The transition from model to photographer was seamless as Tammy garnered all the knowledge from her years of experience in front of the camera. It made perfect sense- who better to be behind the camera than someone who has mastered the art of being in front of it?
Tammy knows how to create a beautiful image while also making you feel comfortable, beautiful and special. She understands all aspects of creating “the shot” and now has a portfolio of work to be proud of- specialising in portraiture and model shots where her wealth of experience gives her the edge over other photographers. Tammy also undertakes commercial advertising campaigns.

Tammy also recently gained her Licentiateship with the British Institute of Professional Photography, further demonstrating her commitment, professionalism and talent in photography.
